About UsConcept Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Joel Heifitz, Adam Lustbader and Stephan Sands. The three combined over 45 years of marketing and management experience to form a service-driven business that listens to its customers and then innovates, produces and markets those customers’ Concepts to the retail shelf, the infomercial or the direct mail catalogue—or all three! Our dozens of dedicated employees put life into our motto “What the Mind Can Conceive Concept Laboratories Can Achieve.” Concept Labs quickly became a recognized innovator in designing and manufacturing personal care and household products and moved into its current 45,000 square foot headquarters on Chicago’s near north side in 1996. In addition, we now have our new CGMP compliant state-of-the-art 300,000 square foot production plant in Xiamen, China. In the ensuing years Concept has established over a dozen trademarks and brands under its own name and manufactured hundreds of products of its own and for customers around the world. Concept Laboratories’ facilities are FDA registered, OTC drug and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant with all requisite Alcohol Products Users Permits, flammable storage facilities, environmentally stable on-site retain sample storage and an on-site research and development laboratory. Our new production plant in Xiamen, China can produce in economies of scale that guarantee any product a worldwide competitive edge. This 300,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility has the capacity to produce over 80,000 bath kits or 400,000 8-oz. bottles per day.
